Cubus Solutions Newsletter: January 2018

Happy New Year!

Cubus had a great 2017! New customers. New products. New employees. We continue to grow steadily.

Here are a few things that we’re looking at in 2018.

  • Paying a Loan Online: A simple concept. Not as simple to implement. Cubus has been successful. Real time payments: no batch files to post. Multiple payment methods: internal transfers, ACH, Cards and e-Check. Multiple channels: web, mobile, phone. For all members, using online banking or not.  Available for UltraData core. Being expanded to other credit union cores.
  • Mobile payments: Our focus on person-to-person payments will continue into the next year. Your members will be able to send money to other people via ACH or, for a small fee, via Debit Card or Zelle.
  • Voice Assistants: As sales of personal assistants from Google and Amazon surge, you must be ready with a strategy to provide your members the convenience of interacting with their accounts by talking to an assistant like Alexa, Google, or Siri. From asking for an ABA number, to checking an account balance, to transferring money or paying a bill, your members will be increasing use of voice assisted banking in the future.

We will continue to improve the quality of the products and services in our endeavor to provide you with even more powerful online banking solutions in 2018!

Energy Capital Credit Union Selects Cubus One

Energy Capital Credit Union of Houston, Texas, a Corelation Keystone core user, has committed to using the Cubus One digital banking platform. The credit union has over 16,000 members and $225M in assets. In March, Energy Capital was the first Corelation customer to go live with the Cubus Notifications Suite (Alerts, Statements and Letters) and will be the first to go live with Cubus One later in 2018.

New Customers: INOVA Federal Credit Union and Neighbors Federal Credit Union

INOVA Federal Credit Union, of Elkhart, Indiana and Neighbors Federal Credit Union, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana have signed agreements to start using Cubus Skip-A-Pay. INOVA Federal Credit Union has over 30,000 members and $341M in assets. Neighbors Federal Credit Union has over 72,000 members and $818M in assets. We are happy to welcome them both to the Cubus Family.

When members feel valued their loyalty grows. It is a proven fact that retaining a member costs less than trying to acquire a new one. Here are a few tips and tricks for ensuring your credit union places proper emphasis on member services.
